Oh wow!!! :) I should check the website. Not sure if we're going this year. Joe and I will probably only go for 1 day with a one night stay at a hotel and probably opt out of the ball(s) especially if they keep the same location. I enjoyed Bad Faeries over Good Faeries, but I don't feel a need to go to the balls again.

I'm on their email alerts. I just hope that tons of guests don't cancel like last year.

EDIT. I'm on their email alerts and saw this wonderful news.
Geez. I'm making no sense today:)

Sadly, I can't...it's at the tail end of my honeymoon :(

Good reason to be missing, but still wish I could be there.

:( not this year. I really wanted to, as I know Jen and Lisa are planning on it, but I've just already asked for a bunch of time off for the wedding, and the timing/money didn't work out for me this year.

FaerieCon...I don't believe I have heard of this convention. Then again, I have only been to anime conventions...lol ^_^ So, what do you do there? What kind of events are held? I'm sure they have a Web site. I should check it out. ^_^

Last year was the first year. It had its bumps, but it was amazing.

It looks interesting! ^_^ It's hard to say whether I would like it without attending it, but it has certainly sparked my interest. When I read about the music, jewelry and so forth, I thought that I might like it. It reminds me of the Celtic festival that I have been to...it would probably be a little bit similar. Looks different indeed! I would probably dress as Star! lol ^_^ I love Stardust! The pictures of you and your friends are awesome too! ^_^ It would be interesting to meet some of my online friends in real life. It's nice to know that you and some others on here live in Knoxville like me. ^_^ Who knows? Maybe one day we will meet! Thanks for sharing!

The electricity in the air from all of these people who love similar things being incredibly excited to meet each other and their icons was palpable. And the Good Faeries and Bad Faeries balls were wonderful, although I'm disappointed that it seems Qntal isn't returning this year :(

I will definitely be returning next year, even though I can't go this year.

I get the same feeling at anime conventions, although, with any fan group, some of the people seem to be eccentric and very strange. Some anime fans are also very snobbish to others and immature. That's not true for everyone though! You would be surprised at the number of older people (mid-twenties and up) there are at cons! Anime is geared more toward adults anyway. Have fun next year! ^_^ An event I look forward to every year is Anime Weekend Atlanta, which is the best anime convention I have attended. If you like anime, I definitely recommend going! It's very fun and exciting! You get this rush like no other. ^_^

I have a passing interest in anime...not an obsession like a few friends, but I enjoy watching some of it when it comes my way. I do lead a teen and adult anime club (2 clubs) at the library. We have monthly meetings with different shows each month.

Oh my God! When do you have these meetings! I want to go to one! ^_^ *excited* I am very interested in meeting with your club. When is your next meeting and where?! LOL ^_^ I can bring Adam along too, if that's alright. ^_^ It would be a great opportunity to meet you as well. What library is this based out of? I'm so ecstatic! <= obsessed fan ^_^
