Seconding the vote for Muse. I like very, very few bands that are popular in the mainstream, (not intentionally, I just like music styles that don't have a popular outlet,) but Muse REALLY impressed me when I heard them. They're very unique.

I can't say that all my favorite singers are male, but more and more of the bands I find myself liking recently are female-fronted.
